I’m Lloyd Gratton — a local, independent curtain and blind installer based in Hereford. I’ve been fitting curtains, blinds, tracks, poles and shutters for over 30 years, working with homeowners, landlords and local businesses across Herefordshire, the surrounding counties, and beyond.

Do you offer a free consultation or quote?
Yes — I provide a free, no-obligation consultation and quote. I’ll visit your property (or you can send measurements and photos) and discuss the best options before any commitment.
Which areas do you cover?
I am based in Hereford and regularly work across Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Shropshire, Monmouthshire, Powys and parts of Bristol. For larger and/or commercial jobs, I can work nationwide.
What are your payment terms?
I require full payment for any blinds, curtains, poles, tracks, shutters etc before placing an order with the supplier. Installation costs are payable upon completion.
Do you match quotes from other suppliers?
Yes — I offer a price-match guarantee. If you have a genuine like-for-like quote elsewhere, I’ll match it, provided the specifications are comparable.
Can I see samples of the different products?
Yes – when you book your free consultation, I will bring a range of samples and sample books for you to look through.
Which suppliers do you use?
I only work with quality, trusted suppliers to ensure your window dressings look great and last for years. These include Masterblinds, Decorquip, Jones, Inshade, Forest, JSC Group, Decor Systems, and Customwest.
Do you supply a written quote / specification?
Yes. I will provide you with a detailed quote document outlining the agreed specification and costs, before ordering any items and completing any works. I will also provide a fully itemised invoice upon completion. Any changes to the agreed specification need to be agreed in writing and the cost may be adjusted accordingly.
Please note that once orders for any made-to-measure items have been placed with my suppliers, these are non-refundable.
What kinds of windows or shapes can you work with?
Genuinely I can handle nearly all window and door shapes and sizes, including bay windows, apex, arched, recessed, roof/Velux, bi-fold, French doors, and more, with custom tracks, poles or frames as needed.
How long does it take from order to installation?
Lead times depend on the product type, style and supplier, but generally once measurements and selections are confirmed, made-to-measure items are generally received within 4 weeks and installation can take place a few days afterwards. I’ll give you an idea of the timescales when you place your order, and keep you informed throughout.
Can I supply my own blinds, curtains or shutters?
Absolutely — you can opt for a “fit-only” service if you already have your products, although items that are made-to-measure will allow for the most professional finish.
Can you repair my existing window fittings?
Maybe – in some cases, I may be able to repair existing fittings or replace parts as required rather than a full installation. Contact me to discuss your requirements.
What happens if there’s a problem after installation?
If anything isn’t right, contact me immediately. I stand by my craftsmanship and will address any issues – repairs or adjustments are part of my service commitment.
